Pizza Peels
Wooden Peels
Wooden pizza peels are ideal for transferring the pizza into the oven because their porous surface absorbs excess flour, reducing sticking and making it easier to slide the pizza off. Additionally, wood has natural non-stick properties and doesn’t conduct heat as quickly as metal, giving you more time to adjust the pizza’s position before it starts to stick. Therefore, wooden pizza peels are recommended for transferring the pizza into the oven.
