Instructions for Using PizzaBlab’s Pizza Sauce and Cheese Calculator:
You no longer have to worry about how much sauce and cheese to use for your pizza – PizzaBlab’s pizza cheese and sauce calculator makes it easy and quick to determine the right amount.
The calculator is designed for all types of pizzas and is divided into two categories: round pizzas and square pizzas. The calculation is based on the size of the pizza, which is the most accurate way to determine the amount of cheese and sauce needed.
If you’re unsure about the size of your pizza, keep in mind that a standard round pizza stone has a diameter of 30-32 cm / 12 inches.
- Standard round pizza: for all types of round pizzas, except Neapolitan pizza.
- Neapolitan pizza: For calculating the amount of sauce & cheese for Neapolitan pizza. Please note that Neapolitan pizza typically contains less cheese and sauce compared to a standard round pizza, so the calculation will be adjusted accordingly.
- Chicago Deep Dish: For making Chicago Deep Dish pizza.
- Square Pizza: For Detroit, Sicilian, pala, al taglio, and any other type of square pizza.
Please note that the amounts provided by the calculator are standard amounts for each type of pizza. Your personal preferences may differ, and you may need to make adjustments accordingly.
To Use the Calculator:
- Select the type of pizza (and the subtype if you have chosen a round one).
- Enter the size of the pizza. For a round pizza, provide the diameter; for a square pizza, provide the length and width.
- Specify the number of pizzas.
- Choose the desired amount of cheese and sauce.
- Enjoy your pizza!
